Impact Investment Exchange IIX Recruitment Analyst Position

The world’s leading impact investment organization, Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) is recruiting for the position of Analyst for investment platform Impact Partners. Analyst staff will work in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City with Impact Enterprises in the process of raising capital and looking for investment opportunities for this platform.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Raising capital for high-impact enterprises
• Originating investment opportunities for the IIX platforms and assessing the impact of impact enterprises
• Providing guidance and technical assistance to help impact enterprises to become investor ready
• Structuring and assisting in the financial aspects of the transaction process, facilitating investments into the opportunities
• Building and engaging a network of Impact Investors looking to invest through IIX’s platforms, developing and marketing product offerings to investors, including pre and post deal advisory services, providing guidance to investors looking to make impact investments.
• Preparing proposals, presentation decks, joining networking and industry events to identify partnerships and business opportunities
• Preparing case studies on the completed transactions and market briefs for potential portfolio enterprises

Required Qualifications
• Degree in Economics/Development Economics, Business Management, Finance or related disciplines,
• Professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CFA is a big plus.
• At least three (3) years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, management consulting or entrepreneurial ventures
• Direct experience working with entrepreneurs, C-executives, investors and the start-up ecosystem is a big plus.
• Knowledge and skills in financial modelling, valuation, writing investment briefs; direct experience with transactions from deal sourcing to deal closing is a big plus
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills, ability to present complex ideas and voluminous pieces of information in an insightful and structured manner
• Fluency in English is a must
• Extensive experience in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with diverse stakeholders (e.g. public bodies, policymakers, social entrepreneurs, large, international private corporations)
• Highly-entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovative, market-based solutions for maximizing social and environmental impact while ensuring financial sustainability
• High autonomy, being able to work in remote working environment
• Being self-motivated and has a positive attitude
• Being culturally sensitive; having good knowledge of Vietnam and the SME space
• Having passion for innovative, market-based solutions to the world’s most pressing development challenges, with a view toward maximizing social and environmental impact while ensuring financial sustainability

Additional Desired Qualifications
• Professional or academic experience in sustainable agriculture, inclusive finance, renewable energy, technology access, healthcare, education, water and waste management
• Experience of living or extensive travel in developing countries, field experience in the region working with impact enterprises, startups or international NGOs is a big plus
